2010 Annual Report
The National Center for Telehealth & Technology went into full production mode in 2010. After two years of steady growth and meticulous research into the treatment of PTSD and traumatic brain injury, T2 psychologists and interactive development engineers released a wide range of stress reduction, self-assessment, and treatment apps; suicide prevention and psychological support websites; and virtual-reality-based therapeutic tools.
This past year of work clearly demonstrates the essential role technology plays in addressing the many challenges associated with psychological health and traumatic brain injury. Leveraging technology can create a meaningful difference in the health and wellness of every beneficiary.
T2 is enhancing the quality of life for service members, veterans and their families by bringing treatment tools and information as close as their telephones, smartphones, and computers. To learn more about the science and technology inside T2, view the annual report here.
